The location of this property allowed us to take day trips to several Tuscan towns including Assisi and Cortona. The property was clean, had a well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and quality linens. There were screens on all the windows. We especially enjoyed the flowers, the nearby olive trees and vineyard. The panoramic view from the villa was picture perfect with cypress trees and castles on the horizon and the landscape of wheat fields and pastures. Seven of us stayed for one week. There was ample room for dinners and relaxing on the outdoor deck. We were thrilled with the pool and spent evenings there sipping local wine. Without hesitation we would return to this property. We had a true Tuscany experience at Podere Chianciano and thank Raffaele, the owner, for his gracious hospitality.

Villa experience here was great! Nice open floor plan on main floor with kitchen, living and dining. Was pleasantly surprised to find out that the villa was only built in last 10 years, so more modern amenities. Bathrooms were nice with great showers and soaker / jet tub. Screens were helpful on windows. Great black out blinds too for sleeping in. Amazing views. Very quiet. Rafaelle (villa owner) was so hospitable, bringing us daily treats like fresh olive oil and wine from the villa gardens, eggs, fresh produce and amazing home-made dinner. Excellent location to do day trips. We spent a month here and had a blast. Would definitely recommend this place. Enjoy !
