Good location for the centre of Cecina on the first and possibly second floor et cetera of building, with parking at rear, which, whilst in a public area has some reserved spaces for the hotel. Very friendly welcome. Room was basic but perfectly okay, with reasonable standard of bathroom. There was something of an odd smell throughout (incense(ish)), more in the corridors, and decor could do with updating. The room was a touch too warm (even in January) and, although we turned off the radiator, had to open a window in the night which being at the front of the hotel was a slight problem with passing traffic. Dogs accepted and at no additional charge. Free Wifi is available with which we had slight problem and the owner/manager could not have been more helpful. Self-service breakfast was included in the price and was okay. They don't do evening meals but good restaurant below - Antico Ponte. Overall, this hotel is good value, and whilst probably wouldn't have stayed for say a week, it was perfectly fine for a night or two as we travelled through Italy and France.
