We have just returned from a three week vacation in Tuscany Italy. We stayed one week at Borgo di Pietrafitta, and it was definitely the best accommodation we had on our tour around in Tuscany. This place is so wonderful, and both adults and kids loved it. Borgo di Pietrafitta is situated in beautiful surroundings. It’s located between two charming small towns and close to lots of others, with great access to Siena, Florence, San Gimignano, Arezzo and other sites.

The kids very much enjoyed the farm animals (chicken, pigs and deer). The pool is also lovely. Our kids are 8 and 11 and they enjoyed it. For a family of four the "mid to large" apartment was nice and spacious. The apartment is well-equipped and the interior is gorgeous. We also got very friendly and helpful service from the manager (Luigi) during our stay. I would highly recommend staying here for any and all visitors to Tuscany.

Ahhhhhh Tuscany. This beautiful, newly renovated property is situated high on a hill overlooking the Chianti countryside. The apartments have been very tastefully decorated, with new kitchens, new appliances (including a washing machine) and plenty of space to relax. We stayed in Il Torrino (the tower) with our two kids and babysitter and it was perfect. We particularly loved the outdoor dining areas scattered throughout the grounds with amazing views. The infinity pool was lovely, with more breathtaking views. The managers, Luigi and Vera were wonderful, helping us with dinner reservations, local touring, and particularly in helping us retrieve our lost passports (left in the hotel safe in Venice!). I would not hesitate to return to this beautiful spot and recommend it whole-heartedly.

This place was such a wonderful surprise. It is how you imagine Tuscany should be in your mind. It is located on the side of a hill overlooking vineyards and other beautiful countryside. The rooms are located in stone cottage looking buildings - old farm buildings - that have been gutted and designed with modern amenities gorgeous interior. They have truly paid attention to detail here! It has an amazing infiniti pool...so relaxing! and Luigi, the manager of the relais is very nice and helpful. I can't say enough about this place! You will not be disappointed.
