“Excellent place”

Excellent place very clean and comfortable good breakfast and wine! You need a car though so might not suit everyone. Castellina in chianti was down the road but was a forgetable place apart from the excellent restaurant there which is expensive but worth it

“"Absolutely Stunning"”

This is what Tuscany is all about! Beautiful countryside and views, wonderful staff and amazing food! The staff are very accommodating and are there to help you plan your days! There are plenty of lounge chairs around the property to relax and take in the view over rolling vineyards at the end of the day. The bar/lounge area inside is relaxing and comfortable and the pool is pristine! The location is perfect! Castellina is close by and the most charming of the Chianti hill towns.
I plan trips and bring tours to Italy for a living and would very happy to have my clients stay here!!
Thank you Ana and Christina for a lovely stay and I look forward to staying with you again next June!

Our staff in Hotel Belvedere di San Leonino try every day to make the stay of our guests as pleasant as possible.
The hotel is an ancient farm house, dating back to the 15th century, situated in the region of Chianti Classico, the land of the famous black rooster wine.
Here is the best place to relax, in one of our beautiful gardens or by the panoramic swimming pool, drinking a glass of our red wine, listen to the birds singing or enjoying the sunset overlooking the vineyards.

“A Perfect Getaway”

This is an old farmhouse that's been converted into a very comfortable hotel. It has complimentary parking, which helps in this part of the region.

The hotel's staffed with very friendly and accommodating staff. The rooms are very comfortable and the cooks do fabulous jobs with the dinner each evening! [We had planned on dining out but after the first evening, we decided to 'eat in' throughout our three-night there! Double thumbs up for their panna cotta!!]

The hotel's also centrally located to the other parts of Chianti. What are you waiting for? :D

Our Hotel is an old farmhouse, dating back to the 15th century. All our rooms are furnishes with authentic furniture in rustic Tuscan style. Our chef Patrizia cooked with love for our guests typical tuscan dishes likes wild board, cinta senese pork, pheasant breast, ribollita, pappa al pomodoro, crostini misti and more others, with delicious cake homemade as panna cotta J, with a different menu each day.
Our staff is waiting for your next visit! What are you waiting for?
For sure this is the perfect place to relax in the heart of the Chianti area.

“Perfect”

What a find. This country style hotel was just as expected - great clean tidy room fantastic lounge bar area, friendly staff, great facilities, great location... the restaraunt food was to die for ! even the odd 3 miunte power cut made you feel like you were truly in the italian country side. Well done to all the team that run the hotel a hotel truly worth a vist for that Tuscan authenticity.

“Much better than photos can describe”

Cristina and the team were very accommodating. They helped with insights and planning day trips in Chianti. The hotel pool was wonderfully clean and inviting. The breakfasts substantial, and service good.
The rolling hills, apple trees, almond trees and vineyards make this a picture-perfect spot.

We ate once for dinner - it was excellent value, and home-style rustic cooking. Thank you for four wonderful days/nights for our young family from Sydney.
