“AMAZING place! Can't wait to go back”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 4, 2012

My husband and I stayed at this agriturismo as part of a trip around Tuscany. This was by far the best accommodation during our stay, and offered great value for money. The location is idyllic in the chianti valley, with the restored old farm surrounded by the owners vineyards and olive trees. But the agriturismo is also conveniently only 5-10 minutes from a main road that connects you easily to neighboring villages.
Our apartment (it felt more like our own small house) was very clean and well equipped (though the kitchen area was a bit small, it did not prevent us from cooking as we wished). We had our own large terrace area and the swimming pool was fantastic: again, very clean, quiet and equipped with comfortable sun chairs (even a Nespresso machine - made all the difference for us!). The good thing is that there are only three apartments available to rent, therefore it stays quiet. For us, it felt like our own private property!
The owners were extremely friendly, giving us recommendations for days trips and restaurants. They also organised for us to taste their wine and olive oil, which you can purchase there.

In summary, we were very sad to leave and certainly would go back! Make sure you leave some space in your car to bring back some of their own wine and olive oil - a treat!

We stayed in the Il Melo room at this beautiful farmhouse and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. For a price much less than most other agriturismo's in the region we were able to experience the beautiful Tuscan countryside and hospitality. This is a central location, the hosts are delightful, and their Organic Wine and Organic Olive Oil is to die for.
We had an incredible time and would recommend it to anyone!

I guess the best review you can give someone is to say you will be back. Well, we are already planning a return stay at this location for next year. The owners were phenomenal, the location is great with easy to get to cities like Florence, Siena, Greve and Castellina itself. The rooms are amazing and up to date, the view is everything that all Americans have in their mind's eye about Tuscany. If you are planning a trip to Tuscany make this your location to stay.
