“Pretty decent hotel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 31, 2013

We only stayed for one night at this hotel because our final destination was visiting Pompeii. We shared a family room that was a real bargain even though the room itself was kind of faded. They have a parking lot which is very convenient and the breakfast was quite plentiful. It´s not the best hotel I stayed in my life but it does it´s job. Staff was helpful indicating restaurants and so on.

This hotel is in a prime location -- a short walk from the palace which is Caserta's main draw. We arrived at the hotel and the woman at the desk addressed me by name -- she was awaiting our arrival. When I asked where to park, she walked outside and gave me explicit directions. Parking is secure / gated, and costs 6 euro/night.

Our room was excellent. For only 60 euros/night, we had a junior suite -- a small sitting area with a couch, desk, and television, and bedroom with a king bed. The bathroom was large and well appointed. Breakfast was excellent. Staff was helpful, pleasant, and knowledgeable, providing us with maps and books even before we asked.

Our only disappointment was that, for the second time we visited Caserta, the palace was closed! (The day-of-week closing had changed -- not the hotel's fault.) We'll return some day, and we will stay at this hotel.

Stayed for one night on our way from Sorrento peninsula to Rome. We had a family room (main bedroom, living room with sofabed, bathroom) that was clean and spacious. The room showed some wear but nothing too serious.

The hotel staff spoke good english and was very helpfull.

There was some noise from corridor and street but not that much that it would have bothered us.

Good breakfast.

We were disappointed that the Hotel did not have a restaurant as described and that we were placed in a room where the bedroom and the lift shared a wall. Needless to say all night we heard the lift going up and down and it was banging and clunking. The shower head came off when I tried to adjust the water direction and the shower was tiny. The bed was not comfortable and when I went to get the blanket out of the cupboard to put on the bed it was worn and old and I would throw it out, not have it in a Hotel room for paying guests.
I do not believe that this Hotel deserves 4stars and for 187 Euro we have definitely had better?
One good thing was the young lady on reception she was very pleasant and friendly and tried very hard to speak English for us.

Room Tip: Do not stay in room number 511 next to the lift.

The hotel was clean and well located not far off of the Autostrada. The staff was excellent and free parking was available nearby. The staff recommended an excellent restaurant just down the street. The room was clean and comfortable.

This hotel is conveniently located in the center of town, near the train station and the Reggia palace. It is fairly modern, clean and spacious. The wood parquet floors were lovely. Breakfast was adequate. Overall, a good value (<100 Euros per night with breakfast); we would stay there again.
