The Jolly Hotel in Caserta Italy is a well-run, clean hotel which merits its three stars. The street on which it is located is not attractive although it is one-two blocks from the Palace and its gardens which received one star from Michelin. The city, itself, is making attempts to become more attractive with new buildings and pedestrian zones.
Very few American tourists visit Caserta. We only encountered three restaurants in the pedestrian walking area. The hotel has a restaurant and also provides coffee and croissants in the late afternoon as well as a very nice continental breakfast.
