We have started our vacation in Italy at Terre del Principe and we couldn't have chosen better!

Beginning with a green road and an amazing view while approaching the B&B, followed by warm welcoming of Manuela and Peppe. The charming room... the relaxed atmosphere... the private tour to the vineyards, antique cellar and their winery, followed by a delicious authentic Tuscan dinner (made by Manuela herself!) along with terrific wine of course...

It all converged into an unforgettable experience!

I was also interested in seeing a Mozzarella factory and Manuela took the trouble to arrange us a visit at a small factory nearby!
Thank you very much! Hope we'll meet again

My husband and I traveled throughout Italy celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. We spent the first part of our trip in Rome and broke up the drive to Amalfi by staying here for one night. It was perfect! It was a quaint retreat after the hustle and bustle of the city. Arriving at sunset to the top of the mountain was breathtaking. Sipping our wine while the sun went down and watching all the houses light up as the evening darkness rang in was picture perfect. We enjoyed Manuela's home cooking while getting to know the Australian couple who was staying there as well. The morning adventure to the ancient wine cellar is something we will never forget.

Terre Del Principe and our host Manuela simply excel at everything they do. My wife and I only stayed for one night in September, but were able to experience so much, starting with an amazing four-course dinner under a wine pergola and in serenity of a Campania night, sampling traditional local dishes prepared from the freshest ingredients, many, such as delicious eggplants, directly from Manuela’s garden.
The Pallagrello suite was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast next morning was another culinary adventure with homemade jams and fresh peaches straight from a tree.
We then learned about the very special wines and the owner’s great passion for wine making and growing. We visited the vineyards, a thousand-year old cave and the production/fermentation facilities, all shown and narrated by Manuela. We were the only guests during our stay, still Manuela took all the time, showed and told us so much about their wine making history and process.
We live in Chicago and Manuela recommended a great pizzeria, Spacca Napoli, where we now can remind ourselves about the great time in Campania, while downing Terre Del Principe’s Pallagrello accompanied with Neapolitan style pizza made with real Mozzarella Di Bufala.
Thank you and we hope to be back one day.

I was delighted to have spent several days in September with my husband at the marvelous and unusual Terre del Principe.

Terre del Principe is gloriously perched in Campania's wine country and delightly off the usual tourist path, affording spectacular views as well as the opportunity to tour a genuine working winery as well at drink and dine on local cuisine.

The owners, Manuela and Giuseppe, are beyond professional as well as warm, friendly, helpful and informative. The property is beautifully maintained and intelligently and interestingly appointed with a blend of southern Italian country and modern whimsy. Our suite, the Pallagrello, was simply beautiful; spacious, inviting, cozy (there is even a small fireplace!) and relaxing, with a spacious terrace as well. Breakfast was excellent, featuring homemade jams as well as fruit and very good omelettes, if you like.

Our stay coincided with the peak harvesting of certain grapes and we were able to tour the wine cellar as well as witness the crushing process - an intoxicating affair, given the heady scent of the sugar laden grapes.

Although we were not able to attend one of the weekly food and wine dinners, Manuela cooked for us several nights, and, a Pozzuoli native, she is a truly outstanding cook. Featuring the fresh produce from the garden and the local Caserta black pig, our dinners at Terre del Principe were among our most memorable in Italy. On a cooler evening she feautured Pasta e Patate and a special rice Budino that would be very hard to come by in a restaurant, but which are staples of Italian home cooking - excellent and extraordinary! Dining in the grape pergola on the supper prepared especially for us is one of our fondest Italian memories.

The countryside, with farms and vineyards nestled among rolling hills, is simply stunning and provides an interesting alternative to or respite from the usual tourist track. A visit to Terre del Principe is worth a trip in its own right but it is well located to visit many other local points of interest as well.

Highly recommended!

We arrived late and tired from the airport and were greeted by the fantastic hosts! We had a bottle of wine and a beautiful cheese and salumi platter. It was heaven. The next day we took a trip to the wine cellar and vineyards of Terre del Principe. The dinner that night was incredible....ricotta di buffala , stuffed red peppers and pork from the black pig of Campania. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The breakfast had all Manuela's homemade jams and a beautiful omlette! Don't miss this experience!

Room Tip: We stayed in the Pallagrello suite and it was wonderful

We stayed with Manuela and Pepe at Terre del Principe for just one evening with our group of 6 on our first night in Italy. The location was idyllic in the countryside of Campania (it is located about an hour drive from the Naples hydrofoil port). Manuela speaks very good English and she was our primary tour guide through the vineyard and their ancient wine cellar in town. We feasted on a 5 course meal paired with their wines and simply delicious local, fresh Italian cuisine. In the morning we walked the country roads and got some exercise while taking in this breath-taking part of Italy. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would highly recommend this as a one or two day stop on your Italian journey whether you are into wine or just looking for a delightful off the beaten path experience.

It is the nicest b&b we stayed in Italy. Rooms are very nice, modern by any standard and the beds very confortable.I think there are only two rooms. The breakfast in the morning was very good and the service super nice. The owner Manuela is a very special lady. I advice the Pallagrello suite.
