“Best little hotel !”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 30, 2012

We have just spent 6 nights (3 nights bed and breakfast and 3 nights half board) at this lovely hotel and it was just perfect. The dinners were 4 courses of deliciousness, the breakfasts had a huge selection including gorgeous cakes. Our room was spotless, with fresh, contemporary decor and very comfortable.
We used the free wellness centre a couple of times, and the free overnight laundry service for my husband's cycling kit was a real bonus!

Best of all was the friendly and very professional service we had from all the staff, they really could not have done more to ensure we had a great stay. I highly recommend this little gem of an hotel.

My 2nd stay in this familiy hotel, again an excellent choice. Smaller hotel with very servant+
helpful people, situated a little bit outside of Bormio directly opposite the central cable car
for Bormio 2000, the main ski area. Small rooms but very quiet - clean and particulary reno-
vated Summer 2011-the bathroom top with wellness shower and everything top clean. Possibility for wellness and sauna (wet+dry)
Booked with Half-Board-nice buffett in the morning with nearly everything and 4-way-dinner
in the evening. Delicious pasta and desserts, nice cold buffett. So: fantastic and always again
although for summer events when you´re looking for a perfect stay to join Gavia+Stelvio pass. My best thanks for a comfortable week in February 2012.

We have just stayed here for the second time. This is a very well run comfortable hotel with excellent meals. The management and staff treat guests like family - there is an atmosphere of friendliness and helpfulness. We have stayed here as a base for cycling, it has excellent facilities and good access to great climbs..

We stayed at the Hotel Alu with a large group of friends and were overwhelmed with the wonderful hospitality shown to us. Rooms were clean and airy, staff were extremely helpful and hospitable, and the food was fantastic. Being just a short walk to the town, and opposite the ski tow, this hotel is perfect for skiing, cycling and sightseeing.

The services is fantastic, the staff are friendly and will happily go out of their way to make your stay as perfect as possible. The rooms are comfortable with a great little balcony overlooking the fantastic Bormio views. This is a quiet and relaxed family run hotel with exceptional service and incredible food and wine. I would highly recommend staying here for your next visit to Bormio.
