Wonderfully situated right at the beach in Bordighera, with such a nice and pleasant atmosphere. Pretty decoration and a terrific terrasse at the roof. Very comfortable rooms and bathrooms. The staff ever so helpfull and friendly. Breakfast excellent, and you can take it on the terrasse, right in front of the sea. A place you want to go back to.

We booked late so we could only get a room in the ground floor. But we had sea view anyway. I believe most, or all, rooms are with a sea view, and if you book from first floor and up it is also with a small balcony. the rooms are reasonable big and everything functions well and is in good shape.
The staff is helpfull and welcomes you very nicely. also they assist you witrh all questions you could have about Bordighera, which is a fantastic beautiful village with an old part worth a visit.
Breakfast buffet at the hotel is delicious and with great selections.
The hotel is "a hidden gem" - go there to relax and enjoy.

Room Tip: Book a room with sea view and balcony.

This gem is located right on the beach with awesome views all the way to Monte Carlo. We have stayed here many times, especially during the Monaco Gran Prix race. Prices are good, hotel is very clean, rooms are nice size, and the access to the Italian Riviera and the French Riviera is unbeatable. In fact there is a train station (Bordighera) that gets you into Monaco and Nice in about an hour...for less than 10Euro.

Parking is mostly free if you can find a spot. Sometimes it is difficult, but the hotel staff are very helpful. We have found the entire staff to be amazing, friendly, and welcoming. The top floor has been recently renovated and has the best views with private balconies. Worth the extra Euro's.

The town of Bordighera is small but has everything, including a really nice long water front promenade with excellent restaurants. Just up the hill is the old town. Very cute, small, and walled in. Several awesome restaurants here as well.

If you have a car, driving into France gets you to top sites and towns, like Cannes, Nice, Cap de Ferrat, and the hill towns of Vence, etc. This place is always a pleasure and worth going out of your way for a relaxing beach stop, or for a base to explore the Riviera.

Room Tip: Book the Deluxe Room with Balcony.

The view was gorgeous; this is a really beautiful place to stay, and probably much better for a couple than for a family with varied interests. It is a very small hotel in an extremely small town. We went just before the high tourist season, but the restaurant owners and others were all quite lonely and had limited options. We'd heard there were several restaurants close by, but they are up a steep hill which made it difficult for some people who had problems walking on that terrain. It was also extremely boring for the teenagers, and the beach wasn't very friendly with rough rocks and jelly fish etc. The hotel was clean and pleasant enough despite the fact that most of the furniture looked cheap (we stayed in the newly renovated section, but heard from others that stayed in the older section that the beds and rooms were not comfortable there). The hotel restaurant waiters were inconsistent, and several dishes were not as expected or ordered. The service overall was inconsistent, hard to get a feel for the competence of the management.

Room Tip: Go for the view

Staying for a family wedding locally, the seafront hotel was comfortable, with very helpful staff, good little restaurant and a seafront balcony made the most of the short break. You fall onto the seafront promenade where the whole town spends time. Parking in the street was available with hotel reserved slots and town was a five minute walk. Pavement cafes abound so the hotel is a good location to explore the local area. Despite the train running nearby we never heard it in the double glazed room. Recommended.

Thr location was very nice. The hotel sits at one end of a long promenade. The hotel price included breakfast which was not excellent, but for 3 star hotel - ok. The tables for breakfast is well placed right across from a public beach and we were able to injoy the seaview. There is small free public parking (8-10 cars) next to the hotel. And we were lacky left our car there overnight. If not, the hotel has paid parking and there are big pay parking. We 2 times had dinner and it were better than breakfast with 4-cours menu 24 Euro. The place is very convinion for trips to France (Menton, Nice, Monaco) and San-Remo. The room is clean, modern, and well decorated, with flat screen tv with hundreds of channels. The staff at the reception desk was very friendly and helpful.

Hotel doesn`t have own beach. But opposite hotel there is public beach.

Lovely hotel at the end of the traffic-free promenade.
Spotless room- well equipped- balcony with splendid sea view.
We've stayed at Piccolo Lido before and found it to be every bit as good as last year.
Pleasant and helpful staff helped to make our visit a real pleasure.
Thoroughly recommended.

Room Tip: We felt that a sea view balcony room was well worth the extra charge.
