“Perfect for families with small children”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2012 via mobile

Very good choice for families with small children. It allows to relax to the parents too. Adapted food, all day long animation, a series of special services for the kids, clean rooms, nice sandy beach not far away.

The hotel is nice, the personnel is very helpful, I would say typically italian :-)
Rooms, bar, reception and exterior are renovated, the rest of the interior is sure to follow.
The swimming pool is really good, unless the whole hotel occupies it.
Breakfast is almost the same every morning.
The sea is some 3 minutes walk from the hotel, i.e. it is one of the nearest locations to seaside in Bibione.
it is quite a problem if you like to sleep longer - first reason is that the hotel is too "loud", full of small children; second reason is that breakfast ends at 9.30.
Otherwise, I would recommend Concordia as a good 3-star hotel, where the price is (almost) adequate to service quality.

I went for a week with my family. the rooms are nice, renovated. the restaurant is not remarkable; it's good but the food is 'normal'. the animation is good. the pool is quite small, but the see is near to the hotel. the child room is very poor.

Room Tip: room in the back is less noisy

The hotel is overrated for the 3 stars.
The negative sides are that the rooms are very small, the air condition is very loud and liking, the furniture is new but the doors and windows are ancient.
Beside that the dinner starts at 19.30 which in our case was very late for our 1 year old and lunch was only one hour (12.30-13.30) which a small child sleeps over easily.

The positive sides are that the rooms are clean, the staff is very friendly, food is OK, although doesn't keep step with the Italian famous cuisine and the most important thing is that everybody, including management, stuff, cooks etc are INCREDIBLY TOLLERANT WITH SMALL CHILDREN. Everything is subordinated to them, from food, leisure, animation, beach happening. It's amazing. I would definitely recommend it to families with small children, while those who doesn’t have them, should stay away, because they wouldn’t enjoy the food flying over the dinning room, the cries during night, the “small needs” on the beach....

3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2009

My husband and I went to the Concordia for a break. Our first impression on entering the doors to the hotel was very nice, disappointing after carrying our cases across St.Marks Square to find there were a flight of steps to climb to get to reception. Reception staff were very welcoming. After being shown to our room, we realised we overlooked MacDonalds, we asked to change our room, but were told there were no other rooms available. The room was small but very clean. The Hotel bar was extremely small just two small tables, I think this was probably partitioned off the hallway and it was right opposite the Breakfast Room/Dining Room. Before we booked this hotel we viewed several photographs, one showed a table set for dinner on a balcony over looking St. Marks Square, we actually thought this would be lovely to eat on this balcony. When we asked at the hotel, "How do we get to the balcony in the pictures we had seen of the hotel" we were told by management that it was not possible and the view we had seen was in fact the balcony of a private room and this room was booked. We were very disappointed as apart from actually being out all day and night, the lounge in the hotel had only windows which overlooked a side street and the side wall of another building, hence no view. Although the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and breakfast was very nice, we wouldn't recommend it. We also met another couple who were celebrating their wedding anniversary, they too were also disappointed. We thought it was very expensive. The Gondolas were extremely expensive during the day and by night they seem to make their own prices up. Would not recommend asking to be taken to Murano by the hotel, they arranged a water taxi but little did we know they also arrange for one of the glass factories to give you a tour, but what they don't tell you is the hard sales pressure you get, and there is no taxi to take you back after your visit to venice, we had to get a water bus. After using the water taxi's, they arethe best way to get around and very inexpensive, best way to travel.
