I was looking for a week away in the sun with my husband and had always wanted to go to Italy, so when I found the ApartHotel Ashanti in Bibione it looked perfect.
I was more than surprised at the quality of the hotel and facilities provided/available. As "TrevCork" says (hi Trevor), the rooms are very spacious (1 double and 1 single bed in bedroom), clean and has everything you need (including a washing machine if you want to get your washing out of the way before coming home). Everything is done on a swipecard system in the hotel, which is great as you don't have to carry cash around with you by the pool, etc.
The spa facilities are just brilliant - and yes, they are free!!!! Full use of the turkish bath, jaquzzi, sauna, steam room and relaxation room (with water beds) is a must. And no kids are allowed, so great for the mums and dads to get away for awhile. Oh, and there's a gym there aswell.
The area is very safe and we found eating out to be very cheap. We also went on the boat trip to Venice, which is another must! You can't go wrong for 38 euros...... Also, when we got to Venice, we took a "taxi boat" trip to see around the canals - all for 18 euro (45 mins).... again, very affordable. Eating in Venice is another story, but if...I was looking for a week away in the sun with my husband and had always wanted to go to Italy, so when I found the ApartHotel Ashanti in Bibione it looked perfect.

All in all, it was a great holiday, however we too would have liked to stay another week, but all good things must come to an end.
One tip: no need to rent out bikes in the town as reception have them free of charge for as long as you like (just pay a 10 euro deposit and your off). Trevor and Aisling thought we were mad on them, but sure enough they were ringing their bells for us to get out of their way ............ :-)More
