We stayed in the triple room with a huge painting for a headboard, Jacuzzi bath and even though the hotel is right in the centre of Ascoli our room was peaceful. I loved it so much can't wait to go back

We stayed several nights in this centrally located and very comfortable hotel. Everything is new, beautifully maintained and decorated. The rooms are lovely and as well as a double bed there was an extra bed to use as a couch to lounge upon. The idea was to be able to walk out of the door and into historic Ascoli Piceno and it's attractive piazzas and Caffe Meletti. The hotel is in a narrow pedestrian street but you can drive there to drop off the luggage and then drive off to park the car in the main multi-story car park for €6 a day. (The hotel has an arrangement).

Breakfast is simple with a good selection to choose from.

The hotel was quiet in March and very reasonably priced. It has a lift. We thought it excellent value and warmly recommend a stay here.

There are so many good restaurants to also enjoy.

If you come out of the hotel and turn right you walk down a cobbled street and on to a small piazza where in front of you, there is an excellent and inexpensive pizzeria. Bella Napoli. You will also pass an excellent florist on the way. From Ascoli there as lots of places to visit including Offida. Look it up.

Room Tip: We suggest room 201 as the window opens on to the roof tops at the back of the hotel and possibly qu...

We stayed here for 3 nights and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. From supplying a cot for our daughter to their lovely breakfasts, they were always on hand if we needed something. The location is fantastic too and the rooms worth the price (we were in one of the "wedding" rooms. The only downside was the hotel is in the old town so there isn't any parking and you have to park a short distance away in a public car park. But at €6 per day it isn't that bad. Overall one of the better boutique hotels I've stayed in in Italy.

We stayed in one of the 2 family rooms on the 3rd floor. The first night we discovered that the airco made a continious noice, which was annoying. We could switch to the other room without any problem for the rest our stay. The location is great, in the middle of the historic centro of Ascoli, but on the other hand very quiet, because the hotel is situated in a very small road.
Good breakfast and every day a different bakery.

Ascoli Piceno is also a good location to travel to the coast or to go hiking in the gran sasso d'italia or Monti sibillini.

Room Tip: The family rooms are on the top floor, just under the roof and have one very small window.

We travelled from Brixen to Gallipoli and needed a stopover mid-way on our trip. We were surprised at the hospitality and felt sorry we were on spending one night at the hotel. We were recommended to a wonderful restaurant in the area and had a fantastic dinner. We had trouble locating the hotel using our GPS, but the hotel manager greeted us at the door.

We stayed at Albergo Piceno for three nights and can whole heartedly recommend it. Location is perfect, staff is warm and accommodating and breakfasts are far above par...especially for Italy. It is spotlessly clean, very attractively designed and has amenities often reserved for 5 star hotels...plush robes, slippers, etc. We had a room for 3 people...one large bed and a single. They both provided good night sleeps. Oh...yes, forgot the bath tub spa, good shower and air conditioning. Loved this place and will most certainly return.
