“Perfect if you want to experience some authentic Sardinia food.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2013

I am from Sardinia and I was on holiday with some English and American friends in Porto Rotondo, so I took them to La Kustera to experience traditional Sardinian food at least once. I must say that we were not disappointed, every single dish was amazing, and the only recommendation I can give is to go on an empty stomach because there is plenty!

The restaurant itself is a bit in the middle of nowhere, but it just adds to the experience as the settings are simply beautiful.

Also, 100% of the products are either produced by them or neighbor farms!

Food and drinks for a fixed price of 35 euros, a complete bargain!

“Excellent authentic Sardinian restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2013

This family run restaurant is fairly remote, but well worth the trip. It is fairly casual. There is no menu, but dish after dish of anti pasti, pasta dishes and finally a meat dish are served by friendly, jeans clad waiters. Do not eat for 2 days beforehand as you will be given more delicious, fresh food than you can possibly eat. At €35 per head, including wine and a complimentary grappa is great value for money. The place is packed with locals - a good indication of it's standard.

“Delicious Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2013

My fiance and I were recommended La Kustera by the B&B we were staying at. We really enjoyed our meal here. The food was made with care. It was well cooked and beautifully presented. The wine which was served with the meal was very easy drinking and complemented the food well. Would definitely recommend!

“Amazing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2013 via mobile

We went with many friends and we loved the quality and variety of the food. The price is very low for the quantity and quality if food. Only the local wine could be replaced with a better one, all the rest is perfect. But it is important to take small portions of every plate to avoid to give up before the meat is served. Bet plates were: gnocchetti sardi, ravioli ricotta e limone, ricotta di pecora e Miele, porceddu e salsiccia. It is a bit far, but the trip is worth for the experience.
