“Is It Closed??”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed June 21, 2013

Couldn't find it anywhere. We walked up and down the street to no avail. The street number went from #12 to #8 with an empty shop in between.
Don't spend your time folks.

“Nice food, good wine”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 7, 2012

We noticed the restaurant near piazza di San Francesco the day before we went there. We were received very friendly and had antipasti, primi and secondi. Typical Tuscan style cuisine. Especially the pasta was excellent (filled with porcini mushrooms and truffle sauce). The wine card was interesting and we got to know local wines, on advice of the landlady and the chef. This is a will return.

“Nice quiet retreat despite being close to sights”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 14, 2012 via mobile

Visited here based on other reviews. Not disappointed. Food of high quality with dishes slightly more inventive than most small trattorias. Service friendly. Unfortunately only had time for one course but would have loved to enjoy a full meal here. Didn't open for lunch until 12.30. Definitely would return if in the area again.

“A gem of a restaurant..”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2012

We went to Arezzo on a day trip from our home in Umbria. We were told by friends in our village that it was a great restaurant. We arrived at the restaurant around 1pm. We were surprised for a local haunt for locals that it was open. Also, surprised how exquisite the food was in vicinity to the tourist spots. The house wine was delicious and the seating tight but quaint. The wine list was very nice but we decided on the casa vino. We had all four pasta dishes on the menu for our primi dishes. They were all top notch and excellent... My son wanted Pici with pomodoro..It was the best pomodoro that i have had in all of Italia..(It had a creamy onion sauce with fresh crushed tomatoes). The desserts were excellent along with the pleaseant service. We will be going back anytime we are in the area.....Even if we need to make a special trip. EXCELLENT.

“Charming & Non-Touristy”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 30, 2012

Bacco & Arianna is a small little ristorante on a side street just a few blocks from the main square in Arezzo.

We came early and were warmly greeted. It appears to be frequented often by locals. The food and wine were excellent. The Chef (formerly from the US) actually comes to your table to introduce the dishes. The dishes were authentic and delicious.

It is a great romantic spot away from the bustle of the town square. They accepted our reservation via email.
