“Really nice!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 25, 2013

Nice interior and friendly service. The menu differs from the usual with exciting meals. Pizza the real Napoletan one, high and soooo nice.

“Wow, great find”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 16, 2013

We spent two nights recently in Anzio and based on TA recommendations we decided to eat here for the first night. We had walked past the restaurant earlier in the day and were not particularly bowled over by the exterior but we decided to go there in the evening based on the reviews on TA. When we walked through the front door of the restaurant we were completely amazed at how lovely a place it was inside - it was so nice. We ordered a starter to share - a plate of fried vegetables etc - it was big enough for 4, let alone 2 but was excellent. We had then ordered a pizza each and they were really good - it was just a shame that we were so full from our starter that we couldn't eat all our mains. The meal was great value for money and the service was faultless. We would definitely have returned for our second night and were disappointed when they told us they were closed on Tuesdays. If in Anzio this is absolutely the best place to eat and was one of our favourite restaurants during our whole two week holiday in Italy.

“Pizza to die for!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 13, 2013 via mobile

The pizza biano ai funghi has stayed on my mind, sooooo delicious! (And I am picky ;) I will not approve and industrial stuff they try to serve you in touristic places.
Good service, awsome food! Do check it out!

“great pizzeria”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 25, 2012

Our hotel recommended it, their own dining facilities being closed. On a quiet residential street, this small restaurant makes a wide range of pizzas in a traditional wood oven as well as fish dishes and much else.
The scent of the citronella candles strategically placed on the terrace to keep mosquitoes away didn't compwete with the appetising kitchen smells.
The restaurant was full, but service didn't suffer and we were promptly brought our drinks, had all our questions answered fully, and were soon presented with the copious mixed seafood platters we'd ordered for starters. Two of us had pizza to follow: mine a sinfully delicious, perfectly gooey four cheeses, the other a fruity aubergine and tomato calzone served open at my friend's request. My daughter had gnocchi in a spicy tomato sauce that she declared perfect. None of us had room for pudding, so I can't report on those.
I'll definitely go back there both for the hearty food and the laid-back, cheerful atmosphere.

“Very good napoletan restaurant in Lazio!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 10, 2012

Very good napoletan pizza and excellent service! Bit out of hand, but only few blocks from the sea. Fairly prices with very generous portions! Absolutely worth!
