“Barbera Barbaresco Barolo and more....”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2012

Best winecard and prices from Alba. We went here with a group of Sommeliers and we had a fantastic night drinking the great wines from the card at very good prices.Barolo from the best year 1999 available and good advise too. You should try the Uovo cocote with truffels and also the brasato al Barolo is great.Slow food available. Friendly service...Not my first visit here and for sure will go back soon...

“Molto gentile”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2012

Great local cuisine; risotto di funghi was exceptional; Vitello in barolo, the most lovely little gnocchi in tartufo cream sauce - they were heavenly so soft and plump. I cannot remember the name of the dessert but it was a version of tiramasu but more dense - just the best! The Marun 2009 Barbera d'Alba was a nice accompaniment. Staff were very attentive.

“A good place away from the touristic frenzy”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2012

In this temple of the slow-food you will find an excellent light version of the piemontese cooking. We enjoyed every dishes of the black truffle menu together with a quiet affordable wonderful Nebiolo recommended by the sommelier. The staff was particularly friendly even though we do not speak Italian. The dolce was an incredible cream with nocciole.

“hidden treasure”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 6, 2012

a bit off the beaten path but obvious that it is a local favorite for lunch. Nice decor and good service. Very affordable menu with antipasti and primi in the 10 euro range. Quite filling and delicious too.
