We just came back from a great weekend spent in Alba for the truffle fair, and were delightfully pleased with the B&B run by Rafaella and Lorenzo. The room we were given was clean, spacious with interesting decor, and had every amenity we needed including a few that we weren't expecting, such as a foot bath and salts.
There were other perks as well. For every night we spent, we were provided with a card that allowed us a free treat such as gelato, wine and salami at one of the local shops. There were also delicious treats such as poached pears in moscato, panna cotta and cookies that were made by the owners. Loved the scrumptiously creamy panna cotta.
Restaurant recommendations by R&L were spot on. The restaurants recommended were reasonably priced with great quality food.
Looking forward to my next trip back, and will definitely stay with La Terazza Sulle Torri again.
