Very thin walls. Room 4 and 5 facing the alley outside, where there is a very good restaurant and bar QOC but also noisy if people are drinking outside, even with the windows and shutters closed.

Rooms are clean and decent. However, shower cabinet drainage could be better.

Breakfast was plain, but sufficient.

Rooftop terrace very nice, with a small view of the sea. Rooms very secure, with a main door, a secondary door, and your own room door.

However, usually not someone at reception, although there Is someone on site at all times to sort things out.

Really good location at the start of Via Athenea, 5 mins walk to Agrigento train station or bus station.

We stayed for 2 nights in this very clean and modern B&B.
Ideal location in the center of Agrigento, close to the temple valley.
Owners very nice, breakfast on the breathtaking roof-terrace with view on the sea and temples.
An excellent place to visit Agrgento, warmly recommended by wise travellers !

Stayed her for two nights on 3/10/09 and 4/10/09. Paid 70 Euros per room per night including breakfast. Booked through Venere website.

This is a very central location, on the main street Via Atenea and just off the main square, very close to the train station and a short walk from the bus station.

It is a small bed & breakfast with (around) 5 rooms in an attractive old building, apparently recently converted into accommodation. Our room was large, modern and attractively decorated with distinct bold colours. There were two balconies overlooking the street. It was very noisy outside at night, but the windows have excellent soundproofing, and there was very efficient air conditioning in the room.

Breakfast is served in a small room on the top floor, (probably outside in warmer weather). It was a quite small selection, but a high quality and included Sicilian specialities and delicious cakes.

There is a terrace on the roof with distant views to the temples (illuminated at night) and the sea beyond. The terrace has comfortable chairs and is a perfect place for relaxing after a day’s sightseeing, and would no doubt be perfect on a hot day.

The owner was friendly and helpful, (but usually not on site), and catered well with our unexpectedly late arrival following travel delays and also an early departure on the day we left.

As a minor point, there was no table in the room, which there easily could be in a room this size.

The Valley of the Temples is around two miles away, and the Archaeological Museum is en route halfway. Both are impressive and need a full day to do both. There is a frequent local bus service. The coast is about four miles, again with a local bus, but we did not have time to go there.

Hotel is located in a perfect position: close to temple valley, at the begging of the most fashionable street in the old town, with shops and restaurants, very quiet as it is closed to traffic for most of the time, but still accessible by your car just to drop baggagges.

There is a public parking near there in which we always find places free of charge (people at reception wil tell and show you). Gestion is by a young couple (a son's coming in very short time) who were extremely kind, cool and friendly.

The hotel is in an old house that is completely renewed internally and arranged with very good taste and elegance.

The terrace is at the top of the building and everyone in the hotel has access. It has a charming sight on the temple valley, you have there tables to spend quiet moment in the cool evening of Agrigent's hill (in august, you'll appreciate very much), or have breakfast in the morning, if you like it. Breakfast was by far the best we had in our journey: not an extremely large coiche, but an outstanding quality.

Ideally situated B & B, a short walk from the railway station (Trains from Palermo, Messina etc) and a short walk to the bus station (Bus to Palermo, Trappani Airport (etc) and close to the bus stop for the Valley of Temples, Agrigento's principal attraction. Beautiful, spotless rooms; great views from the top floor terrace; extremely helpful and obliging young couple who are the owners; right in the heart of the old town, near a park and on the town's most elegant shopping street - Via Atenea. Very reasonable rates - a great find!
