There are places where there is a sense of service which goes beyond the expectations.
Baglio della Luna was one of those places in my experience. A special thanks to Felicia who made me feel home just after 5 min I arrived.
The breakfast is amazing. Home made cakes and delicious local products served in a very elegant way. A taste of Sicily overlook the amazing Temples. Thanks to all the staff. Salvatore

Wonderful hotel. The garden and courtyard are stunning. Service was brilliant. Views of the Valle dei Templi over dinner was a very nice touch too.
(An added benefit was how easy this hotel was to find in comparison to some of the other sites we went round in circles trying to find in the rest of Sicily.)

It was easy to find as long as you either had wifi or a GPS. Check-in was flawless, was given a quick history of the Hotel and escorted to our room. We made dinner reservations and was given a table with a view of the Valley of the Temples. The room was spacious although it would be perked up with a new coat of paint. It was quiet and had a wonderful night's rest. Don't be fooled by the exterior wall of the hotel because the hotel grounds itself is beautiful!! The garden with the view of the Valley of the Temples was impressive, especially at night. Also, a gift upon departure of some delicious home made sweets. Much appreciated,

The Hotel Foresteria Baglio della Luna is an historic residence in the midst of the Valley of the Temples, and has been a UNESCO Human Heritage site since 2000. There are two historic buildings, the Foresteria and the Watchtower. The hotel room was comfortable and very clean, overlooking a paved courtyard. The hotel grounds included relaxing lawns and shady gardens. The hotel bar was very inviting, and the barman was especially proficient in mixing our pre-dinner.cocktails.Our dinner in the restaurant was very enjoyable, especially as the antipasto was very tasty. The evening views from the restaurant are outstanding.

It's an amazing hotel located about 3 km from the temples, a bit away from the city center, and is quiet & beautiful. It has a large atrium & an outdoor dining area overlooking the temples. Get to dinner early so that you can get a table with front row seat on the lawn. The bar & breakfast area are inside a building that's over 1000 years old. Room is spacious & comfy. Free wi fi. Staff service is very good, from reception to restaurant & bar. Breakfast is excellent. Try the croissants. Will return.
