The younger members of our family found this place when they were on a long walk and stopped for beers and lunch. It's rather off the beaten track and without someone suggesting a visit, I don't think many people would find it. They loved it and insisted we go for dinner on the last night of our holiday in St. Austell. It's a lovely quaint old pub with a nice patio and great views and run by a lovely couple. We had huge platters of whitebait, scampi and calamari, served with salad and chips, after tucking into some cheesy garlic bread to start. All of it was excellent. We took a taxi from the hotel, as the road down to it is VERY narrow with few passing places. Highly recommended.
