Description: The Pub has moved with times and although over 150 years old boasts eight four star gold rated rooms, a public bar, popular with the locals that shows all live sport and has great bands every fortnight. Our lounge bar is fantastic for relaxing in with large leather sofas and armchairs with a touch of historic Charlestown. The restaurant is modern, open plan and serves locally sourced food. And if the weather's good our patio and garden is the ideal place to spend a few hours or more!

“good pub food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 26, 2013

This is excellent for pub food and to sit out in the garden for a drink or snack. the atmosphere is great. It is very busy on sunny days and on Sunday evenings when it seems the only place to get a decent carvery for a very good price, but be warned, book , all the locals know this too, perhaps we should not share it !

“Greasy Food”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed June 22, 2013

This gastro pub came highly recommended and sadly it disappointed. Fish and chips should not be too difficult for a competent chef yet the batter around the fish was soggy with grease. The chips were tepid and flaccid. I won't be recommending it.

“Our favourite spot for a Sunday carvery while on holiday”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2013

Our favourite spot for a Sunday carvery while on holiday. We have holidayed in Cornwall for the last 2 years and my parents for the last 10. It has become tradition for us to take a walk round Charlestown harbour on a Sunday evening before heading to the Rashleigh Arms for a meal. The Rashleigh Arms is a lovely place with a pleasant interior, friendly and helpful staff. The carvery is out of this world and only my mum could do a Sunday dinner better. If the carvery is not for you then they also have a great menu. The only thing I could fault them for was their short list of children's puddings. The children's menu however does double up as a bit of entertainment for the children as their are a few things to colour in and they supply a pack of crayons with each menu
