“Relatively Cheap & Cheerful”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 20, 2013

I stay here only because it is close to a business which I run and there are no better alternatives in the immediate area. Although the area is very rural the hotel is located on a very busy RN7 (Route Nationale) so very often patronised by truckers (no problem) and coach-loads of tourists (big problem for dining, esp breakfast). The bedrooms are in need of an overhaul. Staff are very good as is the service that they provide (esp to me and my colleagues as regulars). Menu is ok, breakfast is typically Ibis so a bit boring after a while. Fair value for money I suppose

Pretty much a "motel", but rooms quite sufficient, well heated (it was well below zero outside), staff friendly and willing to please, and the bar/restaurant quite cosy.

The stay we had had this hotel was extremely good. The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable.
We had an evening meal in the restaurant and this was excellent. The service was also very good.
We would recommend this hotel to others

Ibis are a major player but they need to re-evaluate their rooms. We are a family of three and the rooms are so small compared to newer competitors that offer family rooms. They are clean and and the food is OK (unfortunately that is going downhill though). I feel that competitors will start to take the market away from Accorr though if they don't improve what they offer.

This hotel is about halfway between the Valencia region of Spain and the SE of england. It is ideal for anyone with a dog that needs some excercise after a long journey. To the back of the hotel are open fields where the dog can be walked quite safely. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel and one just outside that will do take away pizzas. All in all for the price (we paid 46 euro) and the situation it is ideal for breaking up the long drive back to the UK from Spain. As with all Ibis hotels you know exactly what you will be getting in the room.

Not really near Lyon--nearer to Vienne. However, situated in the country with vineyards to the rear, this is a pleasant overnight stop. The foyer was being re-furbished whilst we were there and will look good on completion. Pleasant welcome and standard, quiet Ibis rooms. Modest but very adequate menu.
