This restaurant looks quite uninviting from the outside, positioned in a narrow and not well lit pedestrian road. But take the courage and ring the bell. A very friendly man will open the door to two small but brightly lit rooms, painted in warm and happy colours.
The starters ("antipasti") are innovative and well prepared - therefore the first courses are good, but in small selection and quite standard, however typical for the region. There are also some interesting main courses, variying according to availability. The wine-list is limited, but still a good selection at reasonable prices.
Altogether a cosy place to tuck into on a foggy night in Alessandria.
