Sylvie shares her home and love for wine and the region with her guests. She has restored the chateau, vineyards, and wine making facilities to a high standard retaining the charm and beauty of the region. We stayed for 5 nights and took advantage of the estate by taking walks through the vineyard and garden, swimming in the pool, and eating a suggested restaurants nearby. When we wanted to have something light and a bottle of wine, Sylvie prepared a lovely plate of salad, cheese, and charcuterie to go with her delicious wine. We felt like one of the family!
The rooms are lovely, large, modern amenities, yet retain a timeless, old world charm. We had a lovely breakfast with homemade preserves. The pool is a welcome retreat after a busy day sight seeing in the region where there is plenty to do. The location is perfect for discovering small villages, Bordeaux city, Saint Emilion, Fronsac, and other parts of the entre deux mers region. Easy access to the highway.
We would love to stay again and have recommended the Chateau to our friends!
