We would not disagree with a single positive thing offered by the other reviewers here, but we would offer a couple of cautions. First, if you are annoyed by barking dogs, prepare to be annoyed. This is a Caribbean island and there are lots of families with dogs and their dogs sometimes bark. They are near the hotel. Second, if you have any mobility problems, be aware that the inn is on a steep hillside and there are multiple steps to get anywhere on, off, or within the property. For instance, there were 47 steps, up and down, between our room and the pool. Third, two sides of the inn front onto streets that have some traffic noise. If this is the sort of thing that wears on you, you should go elsewhere.
But those caveats offered, we found all the positives others noted to be absolutely accurate. The rooms are neatly maintained, the breakfasts filling, the breezes endless, and the people extremely pleasant. We are trying someplace else on the island next year, but that is only because we like to "shop around." The three items above aside, the Sugarapple is a great place to stay, with superior access to the finest beach on the island!
