Colin and |Ken welcomed us warmly to their Guest House and we were made to feel very welcome from the start. Our room was quite large but the bathroom was very poky with a very small shower whose curtain flapped on to you as you showered.
The coooked breakfast was fairly good but I was surprised that, apart from a few bananas, the fruit comprised tinned fruit salad, tinned mandarin segments and tinned pears - I hadn`t eaten these since I was a child and did not intend to do so again.
We ate at The Anchor where we received a 10% discount as we were staying at The Croft.
Overall, this was a good place to stay as the owners are so likeable.
