The bar area is quite small with a heavy emphasis on the dining area. Which is a shame because the general ambience there lends itself better to a relaxed bar area with open fire - perfect for groups to sit around over a pint or two.
The prices are a little high with the standard of food ok, but not exceptional. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful but a couple are a little stand-offish - or at least this is how they come across.
There is a very large car park and a nice decked outside area in the summer.
