“heaven on a plate!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 20, 2013

We've been visiting this restaurant several times now and the two young owners never let us down. Food is their passion and being a guest you see, taste en smell it on every plate they serve. Professional service, exquise winelist and a smile when you come back. That's what's makes this restaurant our absolute favourite! So thanks for all the great evenings! CTU

“Fantastic, really looking forward to our next visit.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 19, 2013

This was our first visit to this restaurant, really enjoyed our meal. We only live 30 minutes away and this is certainly going to become one of our favourites. Beautifully presented food on hot plates. We run a B&B and we have a villa nearby for rent, we shall be highly recommending O'Rabasse to all our guests.

Thank-you...we shall be coming back soon.

“Outstanding food, good wine and excellent service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2013

This small restaurant is in a beautiful spot in the heart of Richerenches, run by a couple who do all the preparation and service themselves.

The food is outstanding - small, beautifully prepared, fresh dishes using local ingredients from a menu de jour with 3/4 dishes for each course (invariably each dish is as inviting as the next and you wish you could have all 3). Their exciting touches and variations really make the food, and for the quality it is extremely well-priced. The couple who run the restaurant are charming and service is always very good.

Go in the summer and eat outside for the excellent views of the old walled village and the church as you sip on a glass of wine from local vineyards.

“A meal not to be missed!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2012

This small but excellent restaurant is located within the walls of the charming and historic town of Richerenches. It is run by a young Flemish couple who obviously love their work, and who specialize in the best local ingredients for their offerings. My venison steak was truly the best cooked and sauced cut of meat that I have eaten in years. My friends who chose the bar (sea bass) were equally pleased. This is a real find!

“Well worth the drive”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 3, 2012

Richerenches is about a 1/2 hour from anywhere, but this restaurant is worth the drive. It is tiny, with about 6 tables on the first floor and an equal number on the second. Good thing since all of the meals are being produced from a tiny, open kitchen! The 30E menu is a steal for the quality of the food. We started with seared scallops served over panna cotta with fresh pea greens and a mint-basil pesto. Yum! My husband continued with pigeon while I had the veal. Both were excellent. I was indifferent about the dessert, but that might have been because I was stuffed. If you're lucky enough to be staying near Richerenches, then go every night!
