We only discovered this place on the last evening of our stay in the Abel Tasman Park area, which was a pity because otherwise we would have eaten there every night.
We sat down on the terrace to a wonderful view of sunset over the sea with the tide out - constantly changing light, a pleasure even before the food came.
We had mezze (and a cooked goat's cheese in filo pastry arrived as a bonus) and cured salmon and wasabi as starters. 3 of us then had the fish of the day - orange roughie (?) with spinach and sultanas. Orange roughie is now our favourite fish. The fourth member of the party had salt and pepper squid which was equally good (and charged as starter though full portion provided). This was all so good that we indulged in a dessert each and all were excellent. Service was friendly and helpful. With winethis came in at $NZ 230, which was good value for such a great experience.
Went back next day for light lunch and not so marvellous - suspect same kitchen team not on duty for lunches.
