“Unusual for Barbados”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 31, 2013

This is a fairly new restaurant, purpose built, very clean modern lines and beautifully done. Not sure about the artwork in the bar area. We enjoyed our evening but think there is still some way to go before it is perfect. There seemed to be a lot of staff but the service was not as good as we had in other less pricey venues, perhaps a lot more training is required. Another fantastic location right by the sea and we appreciated the fans outside. Considering the price a bit of bread with the starters would have been nice.

“Very, very special”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 30, 2013

Slick, stylish and trendy, so don't expect to just walk in, as it's in with the in-crowd. Very busy, yet everyone is so helpful and the menu fresh and thought-provoking. Ditto the wine list. Worth saving your dollars for just to go early and watch the sunset!

“Style over substance !”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 29, 2013

Reception and front of house disorganised, they couldn't find us with our drinks and then sat us in back room with no sea view. We should have been told this when we made our booking.

The food was only average for this price range. The whole experience was not pleasurable. The Cliff is on another level altogether and is worth the extra money

Sorry to see that your experience was not what it should have been and especially if our front of house staff seemed disorganized. They are often put under pressure when we have guests like yourself arrive that have not been told by the concierge that our only availability was on the inside. They are there to please and try to accommodate our guests needs whenever and wherever possible so I think that they were probably trying to see if there was some alternative to your situation which takes a bit of time. However our reservations office do always and I stress "always" inform whoever it is making the reservation (eg concierge, receptionist etc) if the table is inside or out on the terrace. We have clients that will not sit outside and prefer the comfort of the A/C so it is really a matter of preference. We do obviously find that the terrace is the most popular especially with our tourist clientele but we only have 32 tables in the entire restaurant of which only 20 are on the terrace. There is by the way nowhere in Cin Cin other than the in rest rooms that you cannot see the Caribbean sea. As far as the bar lounge is concerned even the best of establishments find difficulty delivering drinks when it is extremely busy as guests tend to get up and move around randomly often to find a more preferable spot or they may join up with another party. We do our best to keep on top of this but admittedly it is a challenge. We are certainly not "style over substance" and will never be! Our prices are also very competitive which is reflected in the fact that we have a strong local following. Our modern Mediterranean style cuisine may not be your cup of tea but there are many TripAdvisor followers that do rate us very highly. We noticed that you have only ever posted 2 restaurant reviews and none have been very favourable. We do hope that in the future you find somewhere that will compel you to give some positive feedback. Happy dining....

“A cut above the rest”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 28, 2013

We dined with friends at Cin Cin last night and loved it. Got there early for a pre-dinner cocktail in the bar before we headed to our table overlooking the sea. We had a variety of starters - I had clams, my husband had fish cakes and our friends had risotto and ravioli. All delicious. Main courses equally tasty. All very well presented and the waiters were both efficient and friendly. Have dined at Lonestar, the Beach House and Tides amongst others, all of which, whilst good, do not come close to the dining experience at Cin Cin.
