“Great Location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2012

Enjoyed our stay. Central location. Rooms were clean and spacious and the staff was very helpful. Would more than recommend. We stayed here as part of a tour and it was a welcome relief when we arrived after being travelling for a couple of hours. Very good nights sleep was had by all.

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel - it was great value for money, clean and spacious rooms, good place to base ourselves for a couple of days. Staff were quite friendly and very helpful. We have no complaints at all for the price that we paid.

Average mid-range hotel, located centrally in Kudat. Great place to stay if you need to recharge after a few days of adventure. Don't go there for the experience of Kudat town which is a rather run-down city - but if you're here, make sure to visit the chinese temple next door.

Staff is smiling but won't go an extra mile to help with practival questions.

Rooms are clean and spacious, and if you get one with a sea view sunsets are quite beautiful.

Breakfast is not included, but you can get basic food in the cafe next to the hotel entrance.

Must start by saying that room rates are around RM100-150, which at the time of writing is approximately USD30-50 a night. Obviously not a 4 or 5 star resort, however, there is surprisingly robust free wifi during our stay and the rooms were old, but clean and well-maintained.

Kudat is a pretty small seaside town and other than nearby beaches and tip of borneo, there are definitely limited things to do. As a place to stopover, it offers excellent value for money and is conveniently located. At this price, no complaints.

A good clean hotel with all the amenities you need, located on the edge of a slightly run down town.
Service was good and helpful, but go somewhere else for breakfast :-)

A very ordinary experience, where you this felt like a way station to get you to the Tip of Borneo...so go and stay there in the developing beach scene (i.e. bungalows and a ridiculously wonderful beach that would be wholly spoilt by now in other parts of South-east Asia).

Also, the breakfast here doesn't seem to be included because they want you to visit their completley separate, but adjoining cafe next door-the food here was also exceptionally ordinary).

Great hotel in Kudat. Had some communications issues but we managed to work around. Cost for making phone calls is prohibitive. If you are looking to go to beautiful Tip of Borneo, I would recommend to stay in bungalows on the beach instead.
