“Excellent food, great value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 29, 2013 via mobile

We went here on bank holiday Monday with some friends. On arrival we were shown straight to the table, drinks were ordered, food was ordered. Although the place was really busy we didn't have to wait long for our food, which was excellent. Service was excellent and was good value for money. Highly recommend to anyone.

“Great food, friendly pub”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2013

We were staying locally and fancied a change so booked at The Old Inn. The food was great, locally caught fresh fish good wine and not expensive. The landlady and daughter were very friendly as were the locals. It was so good that we went back the second night. Excellent value for money.

“Nice food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 14, 2013

The food was good quality and well prepared and not too long to wait. Nice atmosphere if a little noisy. A popular place on a Friday evening. I can recommend eating here

“Much better than you might expect, and lovley staff.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 12, 2013

We did a late booking at this B&B it was very cheap £50pn so we did not expect very much to be honest, but it was just a quick stopover so we took the chance. But what we did find was a very good friendly no frills pub doing great food. The room was basic but clean. The evening meal was wonderful, and we did not have to wait long even though the place was packed with a well behaved stag party going on. If you are a light sleeper and turn in at 9pm I would give it a miss as it a very busy pub. But as we like to mix with the locals we went up about 11ish and had a good night sleep. Now breakfast is 9:30 am so if you want an early start one do not book breakfast, the lovely landlady did do ours for 9am so we could get going to the beach. Overall a great place in a wonderful location, and wonderful staff and locals to make your visit a happy one. Many thanks
