“Perfect just perfect”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2013 via mobile

Fantastic restaurant. Went with friends mid week. Food is outstanding. Very busy on that particular evening and still excellent service. A great buzz about the place in beautiful surroundings. Just book early so you won't be disappointed. I can't wait to go back.

“Very good, but!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 28, 2013

Lovely atmosphere in waiting area. 3 of us dined. Were served cabbage and white pudding soup (just a tiny portion), as an appetiser whilst waiting and it was looovely!! Starters all round were lovely. My main was venison and it, too, was beautiful. Overall, the only complaints were 1) The French Fried Onions were not good and disintegrated on the plate, so that there was onions, and batter, but the two didn't stick together. and 2) the cheeseboard, that I opted for, wasn't overly adventurous and the'Blue' and the 'Brie' were very, very salty. also the 'bottom line' was a little steep at €50 a head. But I would go back, just not as often as I otherwise would.

“Excellent Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 10, 2013

It took two months to get a table, well it was worth the wait. When we arrived we were greeted by friendly staff, we were showen the menu. The choice was excellent. We were then seated at our table. The food was out of this world from starter to desert. Cannot wait to go again.

“My favourite Restaurant!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 27, 2012

Food is out of this world and so reasonably priced for what you get. Service is also excellent. Very nice setting also. Have been at least 10 times and have never been dissappointed. Will be returning many more times!!

“"Brilliant time" as always”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 17, 2012

Myself and my husband have just returned from two day stay in Aldridge Lodge. The food just gets better and better. Always a lovely selection on the menu, so many great dishes it is hard to choose.Food is locally sourced, which we like. We both love sea food dishes, of which there is always a great choice, but you also have beef, venison , rabbit, duck or goose to choose from. The proprietors Billy and Joanne always pay great attention to detail and it shows both in the food and the friendliness of the staff. From the first time we went we loved it and go back regularly and it never disappoints.
