We have just returned from the Watersedge & have to say we had a wonderful weekend. our hosts Alan & Syvlia also Staff member Sarah couldnt have done enough for us . Our room was extremly well appointed with high quality furnishings a very comfotable king size bed all spotlessly clean on suite bathroom with shower .The Guest House benfits from a large car park Our room also benifitted with high qaulity binoculars also tripod mounted ones on the outside balconey
Breakfast was extremly good excellent selection at the breakfast bar probably better than most Quality 4* hotels there is a large conservatory which is warm in winter with large flat screen TV
& a well stocked bar
I cannot recomend this Hotel enough & good value for money
We will be returning early in the new year

Mr & Mrs Lindsay (Bournemouth)

Room Tip: We stayed in room 5 spacious great veiws over the sea & Ilse of Wight

Thank you Sylvie and Alan, we had a lovely stay. Monty also says thank you for his cooked sausage every morning!!! So good to find a place, as clean and beautiful as yours, that welcome pets. We can 100% recommend it.

My Partner and i stayed two nights here in October and would thoroughly recommend this guest house to anyone. Alan and Sylvia made you very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Room was very clean and lovely views over the needles, only down fall was that this room did not have the en-suite and had to go down the corridor to a private bathroom. But will definately stay again.

We had a lovely stay at the Waters edge. The room was clean and comfortable and the beds were fine. The view from the window was superb, when it stopped raining! Although there were other residents the room we had was extremely quiet no noisy flushing toilets or banging pipes even though we had a room with a hot water tank. Allan and Sylvie were away when we first arrived but all the staff were friendly and made us very welcome. When Allan and Sylvie returned they were likewise very friendly and all made for a very nice weekend away.

Unfortunately we have to mark it down on two small points. The central heating had failed and although there was plenty of heating, because the Allan and Sylvie had bought in lots of additional electric heaters it would have been nice to have been told before we arrived and been given the option to cancel. As it was, it worked out OK and we were more than warm enough.

The other thing which I found slightly embarrassing was that we were not aware that we would be expected to pay for our stay, in cash, on arrival. I rarely carry much cash and would normally expect to be able to pay on credit or debit card on departure.

Apart from these two little minor ‘blips’ we had a very enjoyable stay and would be more than happy to return.

Room Tip: Upstairs rooms with a sea view are lovely.

We only stayed a night but everything was spot on. Slept well, ate well and left happy. Thankyou for looking after us so well Sarah you did a great job whilst Alan and Sylvia were away and we really would love to stay again, but for longer next time!

We stayed here for 2 nights just for a break. We had a very warm welcome and were shown round by Sylvie. The room was lovely, great views of the sea, the Isle of Wight and the Needles Light house. Large ensuite, very comfortable bed and excellent facilities. Enjoyed watching the fish in the reef tank in our room. Delicious breakfast and plenty of it. Sylvie and Allan could not have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble.

Stayed at the B&B for 2 nights while taking part in the New Forest marathon.

Room was quiet, clean and tidy with comfy beds, ensuite shower and a good view of the sea. Good breakfast, kindly set up early on the day of the race. Warm and helpful welcome from the owners.

Would stay here again.
