“Beautiful location with 3* breakfast”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 12, 2013

We spent 4 nights in an overwater bungalow in January 2013. The location and the setting of the hotel is brilliant. The bungalows are well equipped and the lagoon perfect for snorkeling.
The breakfast however is far from 5*: very poor coffee, almost no cheese and cold meats, the birds having a feast on the cereals and the bread. The bungalows were cleaned in the afternoon which left us with unmade beds and uncleaned bathrooms for most of day. The food in the resort was quite poor too - at its best maybe average - not worth the money paid for it.
All in all however - regardless of the poor breakfast and food - the resort is beautiful surrounded with lush mountains and the lagoon.

Room Tip: The OW bungalows close to the crepe restaurant might be a bit noisy so I wouldn't have been happ...

Dear Sir or Madam,

Thank you for airing you concerns with others. We receive lots of great compliments for our breakfast and I sincerely am sorry to read you did not liked it and especially the coffee. We do have indeed tropical birds on Moorea and the resort who apparently like our breakfast very much. We are currently looking for a green solution to prevent them entering our opened restaurant overlooking the lagoon.
Thank you for choosing our hospitality and for your positive notes.
We look forward to welcoming you back in paradise.
Yours faithfully,

“Great destination in Moorea”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 4, 2013

In our first time in French Polynesia and we were lucky to stay in this beautiful hotel. We stay there for 3 days before a cruise through French Polynesia. Our overwater bungalow (number 74) was beautiful, clean, very comfortable and the location incredible. There were great amenities in our luxurious and modern bathroom. We highly recommend this hotel and would definitely go back!

Room Tip: The overwater bungalows are totally worth it, and you will not have mosquitos in your room since it...

“Amazing honeymoon destination”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 2, 2013

We stayed in an overwater bungalow (definitely worth the price) for the first half of our honeymoon. The food (especially the crepes) was delicious and so were the drinks. The food/drinks were very expensive but there is a 1/2 price happy hour at the bar and there's no tipping. We brought alcohol from duty free (do this if you are drinkers) to save on money and we were definitely not the only ones. We spent hours snorkeling off our room even though at night there were sharks (I was told they were nice :/), I didn't see any during the day. The views are amazing and really, you could do no wrong. There was a line to use internet (one computer) but nobody spent too much time online.

Room Tip: Try booking through Costco for low rates and book the hiking excursion!

“The best hotel in Moorea”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 1, 2013 via mobile

We stayed at Hilton from 24th to 29th Jan 2013 for our wedding anniversary,

The weather was way better than we expected, and the view from the hotel was just amazing!

Daniel who helped our check-in was so kind and informative, and he even let us check in a bit earlier than 2pm. All the staffs were friendly and helpful, especially Anthony who works at the main restaurant, he would always greet us with a beautiful smile and never forgot to thank us in our language Korean.

We stayed at GB for 3 nights and panoramic OWB for the last 2 nights. GB wasnt as noisy as I worried, we could not hear roosters once we shut the toilet door. OWB was just incredible, a must stay!

Crepe bar was the best in the world, not just the crepes but the entire atmosphere was spectacular! We could see sharks from our table. The chef there was friendly as well.

The main restaurant, our package included dinner so we found the food great! However those who pay the full price for the dish might find it expensive.

We visited Intercontinental and Sofitel when we rented a car for 8 hours, and we were so glad that we chose Hilton.

Unfortunately my husband got real sick on the last night, but the staff at the medical ward helped us a lot.

Again we thank all the staffs at Hilton Moorea for giving us such unforgettable memories. It couldn't be better!!

“Heaven on earth!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 28, 2013

We recently stayed at the Hilton Moorea in an overwater Bungalow with our two young children. We had the first bungalow on the pier which was perfect for us as it was right at the beach which meant no long walks back to the room every time we forgot something (which is often....) The lagoon is amazing - the colours of the water will keep you amazed your whole stay. The staff were brilliant. Definitely the nicest people and nothing is ever too much trouble for them. Housekeeping staff are amazing and have an attention to detail like no other hotel we have ever stayed at. The food - whilst expensive, was delicious and it made it a lot easier for us with the kids being free. A lot of people have spent ages going on about which is the best room - but honestly I don't think there is any room that you wouldn't love. They all have their special qualities.
Would recommend to everyone and anyone, was the paradise that we had dreamed it would be. Our children had an amazing time and saw marine animals that I have been waiting my whole life to see.
