“What more can we say”

All the previous reviews have said it all, this is a great place to stay for families, couples and single travellers, peaceful, quiet stay, yet close enough to explore the many interesting major attractions in the area including the beach, all within easy, quiet drives.Tonys typed directions are spot on,for instance the directions from Bolonga airport start from the underground car park and list all turns and signs and make for a easy stress free drive to Casa di Antonio. The accomodation is 1st class and very comfortable with very good sized bedrooms and on-suite bathrooms, the bedrooms are air conditioned.Karens cooking of the local dishes and the home made bread and jams for breakfast are just fantastic,do not miss out on these.Karen and Tony made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble,a brilliant holiday, we have already booked to go back next year.

A fantastic place to stay! We had a really lovely time- our room was really nice, immaculately clean and felt at home straight away. Tony and Karen were very welcoming and friendly and gave us loads of helpful advice about where to go, directions for getting there and things going on locally. Couldn't have been better! A really good base for exploring Italy- it's an easy drive to loads of interesting places. Had a brilliant time here and will definitely come back!

We don't often return to the same place twice, but after our visit last year we couldn't wait to go back. This is a place like no other, a real personal touch. Karen & Tony really help you make the most of your stay, for me, this is a taste of real Italy. In a great location to visit places such as Bologna, Verona, Venice etc, but a world away from the tourist bustle. I am sure we will find ourselves there again at some point.

With the warmest welcome imaginable, it was more like arriving home than at a destination. Breakfast was fabulous and Karen's cooking has to be tried if you get the chance-brilliant. Tony's advice on the area was invaluable, enabling us to make the very most of the sadly short time we had with them this time (yes we are going back). The accomodation is spotless and very comfortable. This is "proper" rural Italy and yet ther are so many places of interest (not just Venice, Verona and Bolgnia) in reach. Missing being there terribly now we are back in rain sodden England. Try it you will not be sorry!

Room Tip: Ours faced the front garden and was lovely.

We have had many holidays in Italy over many years & we haven't been better looked after anywhere. Karen & Tony go to so much trouble - the accommodation itself is beautifuuly appointed - the food (breakfast & Karen's legendary suppers) is excellent - and with Tony's directions & wealth of local knowledge, you don't need a map! So much within range from the 'big names' such as Verona, to delightful unchanged little country towns. We were introduced to the Eugean hills for the first time - truly beautiful & unspoilt. Leave Tuscany etc to the crowds!

We fell in love with the place! Karen and Tony were so welcoming and had thought of every little detail that could possibly make our stay even better ( thank you for trying to find me an exfoliating glove)! The rooms are spotlessly clean, light, airy, spaceous and have excellent en suite facillitites. Each one has stunning views across the Delta Po or up towards the Veneto and beyond. Breakfast was fabulous and filling with 11 different sorts of home made jam throughout the week and a different freshly baked homemade bread each morning, not forgetting the fresh fruit, cereal, yougurts and pastries. We booked for both evening meals at Casa di Antonio during our stay and Karen has really mastered the Italian way of dining. My husbabnd rated Karens steak strips in balsamic gravy the best dish of our two week stay in Italy! We all enjoyed it so much that Karen has kindly given us the recipes so we can share a little slice of Italy with our families at home. Tony gave us excellent directions to each destination with really helpful hints and tips of were to park, pick up a bike, or which tour bus to catch. Cant wait to go back!! x

Room Tip: Each room is as good as the other.

Thank you! It was great fun having you all stay in our home! We remember fondly our nights under the barn drinking Prosecco and singing theme tunes of old children's programmes! We look forward to your next stay!

Had a wonderful stay here, we've never stayed anywhere like it! Far more preferable than staying in a hotel, this was like staying with friends. I think the previous two reviews say it all really. We have already arranged our return visit next year!
