We've been coming to Naxos for three years and have come to know Poppy and here lovely family. So we tried her apartments. Get room 32. Awesome bed! Love this place and the owners. Poppy's Oregano cafe does an amazing takeaway too. Highly recommended.

I couldn't believe that i would wake up and feel the air breeze from the sea.. Those apartments are very clean, with many accommondations. The hospitality of the owners was extraordinary..
You should try relaxing at the bar's sunbeds and enjoy a cocktail as the sun sets..
Stelios the bartender will take care of all your needs and make you feel at home..
You will surely want to return again!

The Studios are lovely and clean with a nice garden and fabulous swimming pool.
Poppy and her Mum, Aggeliki, are very homely people and also extremely helpful.
They are only a few minutes walk to the beach of beautiful Agia Anna and only 20 minutes walk to neighbouring Prokopios and Plaka where they both have beautiful beaches also.
Aggeliki's supermarket is a 2 minute walk where you can buy fresh bread and freshly cooked croissants & choc au pain early morning - prices are very reasonable. They also have a little cafe area next door as well as cheap Internet.
Next to there is a new taverna, Oregano, which is cheap in comparison with some of the other restaurants.

Room Tip: Sea view rooms have lovely sunset views.

This family run establishment has all the comforts you need for your holiday on the best Greek island of Naxos. Conveniently located near the beach of Agia Anna, the studios and apartments are impeccably clean in a lovely garden setting with lush bougainvillea, palms and lemon trees. A good way to start your day is a relaxing dip in the pool and then hop down to Aggeliki’s well-stocked supermarket just 2 minutes down the road for fresh bread. The eggs and local fruits are straight from their farm. Enjoy breakfast on your balcony and then stroll to the beach or take the frequent bus service into Naxos town just 15 minutes away if you want some city life, shopping or sightseeing... You could also have your morning meal at daughter Poppy’s Internet café. She makes great coffee and can also fix sandwiches, pies and drinks for your picnic on the beach. Bring a book or your laptop or surf the net on one of the 5 computers Poppy offers at a low price. The café is popular with the locals who enjoy meze plates of freshly caught grilled octopus or yummy local Naxos cheese with an ouzo. It’s a super place to just hang out – alone or with company.
Aggeliki and her family will shower you with Greek hospitality and make you feel right at home. You will surely want to return again and again…

The Aggeliki Studios are a 5 minute walk from Agia Anna beach. Family owned and managed- great people. The rooms are simple but very comfortable. In the room there is a small cooker for the adventurous- ok for a brew in the morning, and a fridge. The air con unit was easy to use thank goodness and did a great job in keeping the room temperatures under control. The Studios are beside the road, but is surprisingly very quiet at night. The proximity to the road although not busy would cause me to think carefully about taking small children. At the pool area they would be contained, but kids can move fast and are curious.
Our room had a view to the Ocean and it was very pleasant to end the day on the balcony with a drink and watch the world go slowly by. Rooms are located round the pool area in a L shape. During our stay there was no intrusive noise from any of our neighbours.
The pool is superb and of a fair size, sheltered at the rear of the complex, and there are a number of sun beds with umberelas to relax on. Also a shaded area had been built to give a little respite from the sun.No bar on site, but stock up at the local supermarket and life is good.
The running appears to be down to Poppy the family daughter. Poppy always seems to be busy doing something and is very helpful and likeable- speaks excellent English. The complex is very clean and tidy; our room was serviced daily led by Poppy and her team.
In short a very good location and somewhere that we would recommend and be very happy to re visit ourselves. We could cheerfully chill here again for a few days.
Agia Anna is small, and pricing a little higher than neighbouring Agios Prokopious where we stayed previously. For example beach sun beds were 8eur/day in Agia Anna and at Ag Prok 6 eur/day The beach along this coastline is fabulous, just sand blue and blue ocean. If you are into naturism- there is a beach within walking distance where it is tolerated.

We still enjoy Naxos town, and did eat in some really good and fairly priced restaurants. An easy bus ride into town at just over a euro per person each way. Drinks ( cocktails) are cheaper here than Paros. We eventually settled in a bar at two for 8 euro. The same drinks were up to 10 euro each in Naousa - Paros ( a rip off, but your choice). The real wicked evening event was the cake shop in the middle of the main drag along side the harbour. A real people watcher place. Cakes you can only justify on holiday, especially loved the chocolate mouse- it’s just chocolate- wow.

  • Liked — The Pool and Rooms
  • Disliked — Closeness to the road, although was no problem to us
