i stayed in this fanstastic pub hotel for a few days and it could not have been any more plesent. As soon as we got there we were warmly welcomed by fatastic bar staff that showed us to our amazing 4 poster bed room with a fanstasic view of the river. it was perfectly cleaned every day, the breakfasts were delightful and alsways served with a smile (even at 8am on a saturday mroning). We ate in the pub most evenings, the food was also top class and was a warm welcoming 'local' feel to the place with everyone being very frenidly and welcoming to someone that wasent from area.

i will be returning for annother fantastic trip.

We have just spent a weekend visiting Kew Gardens and Isabella Plantation in the Royal Richmond Park Both were an absolute delight.
After reading the reviews we decided to try the Rose Of York this public house has rooms with river views at £85 no television but full wi fi FREE access the rooms were clean and bright,and at a price which represents great value for the area, i tried to book other accomodation prior to the Rose but was put off by the pricing policy, the most expensive being £245 VOW!!
So if you are on a budget you can expect a warm welcome from the landlord and landlady at this super pub,the beer is pretty good too!

It was my mother in laws 90th birthday and we thought long and hard about where we could take her!!

It turned out to be a perfect day, the sun was shining, the kids and partners were there before us, almost unheard of, and the table was reserved!!!

Having soaked up the sunshine, the view and a few bevies, we were ushered inside, the food arrived quickly and was delicious. The staff were attentive without being "in the way" and we were allowed to sit at the table for as long as we wanted. (The bill was more than reasonable too!)

Looking for another excuse to get back there!!

Stayed at the Rose of York a number of times now, and if I am honest, I really can't think of anywhere nicer to stay if you are visiting London. Sensible prices, plenty of parking and most of all, a fabulous location by the river, and in Richmond, close to the royal Park and the amazing views from the top of the hill. Hope you enjoy it as much as myself and my family do.
