“Great hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 30, 2013

This was the first time I had stayed in a Premier Inn and I was very impressed with the standard and the price.
We changed room a couple of times and that was no problem with reception and they seemed more than happy to accomodate us.
We had a room on the 2nd floor overlooking the road - it was not that noisy at night and we both had a great nights sleep.
The air condition was not cold enough and we asked reception to manually turn the temperature down which they did and it worked well. The window also opened.
We didn't have dinner at the hotel but had breakfast which was good.
The hotel is within walking distance of Richmond and Kew Gardens and is right by a Sainsburys

Room Tip: Twin rooms facing the road seemed to be the biggest

I stayed in the hotel for 2 nights in January. Could not fault the hotel or staff. Checked in using the new automatic check in service which was really easy. The room was nice and clean and had everything we needed. The staff were really helpful and friendly especially with our daughter who was 3. Didn't eat at the restaurant but maybe next time. We parked at the hotel on the monday for £10 which was cheaper than the parking around the area and it was quite secure. Sunday night we parked on the side street which was free. Richmond train station is only about 10 mins walk away. Would stay here again.

This is a new hotel, and we could not fault this hotel. It was spotless, both in the room and in the restaurant. The evening we had was served by a most polite and very helpful waitress, she was a real credit to Premier Inn group, her name was Nina, and I hope that management take note.

This is one of the newer Premier Inn's and was spotlessly clean throughout. The receptionist was friendly and helpful and the room perfect. Within walking distance of Richmond town centre.
Traffiic noise was constant and if you are troubled by this then ask for a room on the rear of the premises. We were however dissapointed in the quality of the food in the attached restaurant but that is seperate from the hotel. Good value for money for the location.

Room Tip: Rear of the building rooms should be quieter.

Stayed for two nights on a room only basis. Hotel is about a 10 minute walk from Richmond town centre and station. There is a private car park at £10 a night, but you can park in the side streets at weekends. Swift check-in. You pay up front, so no waiting to check out. Meals and drinks are paid in the restuarant.
Large clean room with excellent en-suite facilities. Very comfortable king-size bed. Tea and coffee making facilities. Flat screen TV is a bit on the small side but OK (freeview channels). Window is locked shut, don't know why, so A/C has to be used. Walls between bedrooms are not very thick, so you can hear people in the next room. OK during the evening, but not at 3 a.m. Also bedroom doors bang shut, which is not acceptable.
Food is OK and reasonably priced, but nothing to write home about. Very good service. Drinks prices average for London. There are plenty of good places to eat in Richmond and along the Kew Road, all within walking distance.
All in all a good hotel, but with some issues that need sorting.

Relatively new hotel; nice big room with everything comfortable, clean and easy to use and very nice staff in the lobby / restaurant areas. Good continental breakfast. Good bed. Quiet (at the back of the hotel) but air con was so noisy it had to be turned off at night and it was impossible to open the window - a notice said that it was locked. Food unavailable one night (apparently someone not turned up in the kitchen) and the next night it was not very good. There is a pub next door to eat but that's about it.

Tip: ask for a key to open the window and find somewhere else to eat in the evening

Room Tip: one on the back is quieter

Newly built hotel in a good location. Very clean and tidy, can not be faulted. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Nothing that you would not expect from a Premier Inn hotel.
Meals were very tasty with a good choice of menu. I would use this hotel again.
