Decided to try Franco's on a Saturday evening. The ambiance was nice, the restaurant was full. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the dishes. The menu was standard Italian fare but teh dishes we had, calamari, bruschetta starters were delicious , I had fish of the day which was seabass while my date had tagliatteli . Dessert was tiramisu and lemon sorbet. I had both and enjoyed the sorbet more. The tiramisu is like the kinds I had in Italy, good but standard fare. I really like my tirasimu with marsala and less creamy. But my date enjoyed it very much . He rates it Franco's just a little higher than me. He said its excellent I say its very good and quite a little gem tucked in Banchory! It does stand taller than most of the Italians restaurants from around here.... well done Franco. Keep up the good work.
