Had one night here after attending a wedding in the area. Lovely room, v comfy bed. Delicious breakfast the next morning with fresh fruit and full cooked breakfast. Gail was very friendly and helpful.

I stayed there for a few days and felt I was at home. The family is very nice, friendly, kind and welcoming. The place is taken care of in every detail, spotless clean, in nice order and at the same time really cosy. It has a lovely little living room where I was inspired to write as never had been before, or read, with a green and beautiful landscape out of the window. Room was spacious and also with a view of mountains. Breakfast was very nice and homemade jam is something you MUST try. I am wiling to go back again, and I with no doubt recommend it to anybody who enjoys tranquility
James Manresa.

Room Tip: The single room at the end has a beautiful view, but no bathroom in it.

We stayed here for two nights. The accommodation was excellent and its set not far from Banchory. It was a very friendly experience and a lot of thought had gone into detail - like ample soap and shampoo - so no need to take your own. The bed was comfortable and breakfast was delicious - fresh blueberries, strawberries and melon and a great selection of cereals.

We stayed in the guesthouse for two nights in July. Gail was very welcoming and helpful with everything we needed.
The double en-suite room was modern, well decorated, spacious, clean and we had everything available we needed including tea, coffee, fresh milk and snacks. There was also complimentary WiFi.
There was a comfortable guest lounge for us to use, with a TV as well.
The breakfast was plentiful, with cooked breakfast and choices of cereal, bread, yogurt, fruit.
The setting was in a lovely area in the countryside.
We traveled in Scotland for several days and this guesthouse was among our favourite to stay in.
Highly recommended.

Arrived on day 9 of our Land's End John O'Groats cycle. Great welcome with plenty of tea and food. Rooms were large clean and well-decorated, as was the garage so we were able to fix our bikes.

Roy and Gail went far beyond expectations in their hosting, providing lifts in and out of Banchory, washing our kit and even sandwiches for next day's lunch.

We stayed at 15 4* B&Bs on our journey and this was our joint favourite along with 2 others.
