“Anne - Wow what a jewel - one of the best ever”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2012

We stay in bed and breakfasts all over the world and have very high standards. We really enjoy the B&Bs in the UK. We just love the interaction with our hosts and the other guests, you really do meet some amazing people.
We stayed at Castle Canyke for two nights in September 2012 and Jane could not do enough for us. The house was prestine, fresh, shining like a new pin, but with a beautiful warmth about it. The gardens are wonderful and there is nothing better than to sit in the bright, airy, but warm conservatory eating Jane's wonderful breakfast and watching the birds. We had to leave really the early on our last day and Jane got up early and wanted to cook us a breakfast and everything before we left, nothing was too much trouble, Warren even called the house before we left to warn us of a traffice accident blocking one of the major roads home. I would highly recommend this wonderful jewel and I hope we get the opportunity to return.

Jane and Warren create a very relaxed and warm environment so that you can fully enjoy your stay - they make you feel like friends rather than customers. Enjoyed leisurely breakfasts in the conservatory watching all the birds. Would recommend and hope to be back.

A big thank you to Jane for a super welcome. You can not fault this B&B . The room was beautiful and clean, the breakfast was superb. The garden is a treasure with lots of birds to watch while eating breakfast. Nothing was to much trouble, so helpful and friendly.

Beautiful b&b, bedrooms decorated to the highest standard. Excellent breakfast to meet all needs, full English or continental nothing too much trouble. Friendly atmosphere with a warm welcome. Beautiful garden to explore and while sat in the conservatory to have breakfast great view of a very busy bird table!!! All round an excellent b&b.

Castle Canyke Farm is a delightful Guest House, just a stones throw outside Bodmin.
Jane and Warren are amazing hosts, could not do enough for you, nothing was too much trouble.
Its no wonder Castle Canyke Farm is top of the list, well deserved. Very handy for visiting the Eden Project, and Rick Stein's at Padstow.

Possibly the best B&B in the UK. I've stayed in hundreds of B&B's through the years and I have to say that this is by far the best, can't recommend it enough. There is no way that you could possibly be disappointed.
Well placed for exploring both the north and south coast of Cornwall. Looking forward to visiting again.

Amazing is a word that springs to mind from the moment you walk through the door of Castle Canyke farm.
From the wonderfully warm welcome from both Jane and Shirley you instantly feel at home.
We were looking for something a bit more comfortable than the Premier Inn type stop over accomodation that we have used for the past couple of years, as this time we wanted to make the stopover an opportunity to explore an area of Cornwall we were'nt familiar with, so we thought a B+B might be more suitable than the characterless premier inn type room.
What we found at Castle Canyke Farm though was a little crock of gold!
We stayed in the "family" room, and couldn't fault it. Even the tea tray was beyond expectation! Chocolates and sweets, Chocolate biscuits all replenished daily! Honest Jane the kids ate them all!!
Part of me thinks i should be telling you all what a horrible place to stay this is....just so that we can keep it a secret!!
Breakfast is an experience to behold too....Jane youv'e got to start that delivery service!!

I just wish we lived a little closer, as i think we'd have a lot of weekend breaks here.

Look no further if you want a luxury break, if this B+B isn't in the top 10 in Cornwall i'd be amazed.

Proper job!
