“reasonable for a weatherspoons”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2012

food was quick to arrive and tasted good. only complaint was that the burger bun was blackened (burned) in one place and there was quite a bit of grease coming out of the burger itself. very friendly staff though and quick service.

“Great food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 10, 2012

Had a nice lasagne here, staff were friendly and food came quickly.
Good location, and very clean.
Normal prices for a wetherspoons.
Lovely and quiet for dinner :)

“good food on a budget”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 29, 2012

this place can always be relied upon for a wholesome and cheap plate of food. We have been here a few times to take advantage of the special deals, such as burger and beer for 3.99 and the lunch time deli deal for the same price.
The service at the bar is always quick and friendly, and the food is quick to arrive and always well presented.
The only thing that lets it down is the tierd decor and it could do with a little bit of a clean; also the ridiculous policy of including small glasses of soft drink in the 'beer and burger' offer, whilst alchoholic drinks are served by the pint!

“Handy for Early breakfast”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 13, 2012

Easy walk from the railway station and central Travelodge. Opened at 8am for breakfast. Breakfast was a little overcooked and seemed as though it had all been cooked in a deep fat fryer. Very friendly staff.
