may well be a regular at this place for nowt more than a coffee which aint the worst ive had but today my partner and i decided to have brekfast there,got there bout 10.15am and wasnt to busy (7 people inc ourselves),i ordered standard fry and my partner ordered french toast.all cooked behind the counter so u would think it would be quick and easy to do,well both dishes were cooked and put under heat lamps and sat there for a good 5 mins,when i questioned the waitress,i was told they were waiting on beans?????? a pretty basic thing u would think they would have downstairs but who i would pressume to be the manager slowly walked upstairs and reappeared 2 mins later with said beans for my fry.this would not have stopped my partners dish being served but the waitress seemed more interested in taking more orders and by the time we got our food (10 mins after cookin) it was cold and as i work in a kitchen im fully aware of cooked food allowed to sit is a breeding ground for bacteria as the heat lamps were not hot enough to keep food at a sustained temp.overall i would suggest more staff and management training in this area.think ill just stick to coffee in future

I apologise that you have been unhappy with our service.
We prepare all our cooked food to order so it does take a short time for cooking each dish as you will understand. With regards to the waiting time we heat our beans to order rather than letting them stew in a pot - the beans for your breakfast were actually in the process of being heated, the new batch of beans from our second floor store were actually just for subsequent orders of breakfast.
With regards to the heat lamps they are actually part of a full hot hold catering unit with thermostatically controlled heating units below the plates and the heat lamps above. This unit is actually designed to hot hold food for long periods of time - in fact we bought it specifically for its ability to hot hold Sunday Carveries etc.
I appreciate that there has been a delay in the plating up of the food and will obviously reevaluate our training and processes , However I am surprised that it has been served "cold" as the hot hold unit has always performed admirably.
I would like to take this opportunity to reassure you that bacteria would not be able to grow and multiple with in a period of ten minutes - fortunately it would take many hours.
We are a very busy place for breakfast and although when busy you may have to wait a little longer for your food I can assure you that we usually are able to serve your food in a Flash!
