“love it”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2013 via mobile

we visit Aberdovey and tywyn several times a year. we always end up popping in here for a coffee and cake. lunches are lovely too. Can get busy but that's because of it being popular.
while enjoying your food and drink they have shelves of lovely foods, we always come away with a jar of chutney or jam.
Girls in the shop are always helpful and pleasant.

“Friendly and welcoming.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

We visited during the Easter break with our family (3boys aged 13-7). The staff were very kind and friendly to us all.We continued to use this everyday during our stay as the hot chocolate with cream and the millionaires shortcake were Devine!
We Will be visiting again.

“Excellent”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

Really enjoyed our meal and spectacular coffee! The staff were welcoming and pleasant and ever so helpful! The food was superb for the price and was very tast indeed the other review writer must have caught the staff at a bad time because from the three times that I have now been into this lovely cafe I have had the best service that I could have asked for! Would 100% recommend

“Unhappy experience”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 13, 2013

My partner and I visited for a quick break before a long journey home. The cafe was busy but a coffee, a hot drink and two cakes shouldn't need to take about 15 minutes to serve, with what seemed locals and take away patrons being served with priority. The coffee was nice but the hot drink my partner had was only okay. Though the cakes looked nice, neither of us enjoyed ours. We purchased a home made cake to take home as a gift, only to find it was £4 !! for a small cake, no wonder we though the bill was expensive. Neither of us will be eating/drinking there again as there are far nicer, better value for money cafes in the vicinity.
