“Excellent food and service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2012

We had a fantastic meal with great atmosphere. Wild boar and fresh bass with good wine. Sticky treacle pudding was heaven and best place we ate in whilst on holiday in aberdovey- definitely go back again when next up in area

“Great food and service.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 25, 2012

We have eaten here many times whilst on holiday in Aberdovey and it never fails to offer great food and really good service. My lobster bisque was delicious as was my main course of monkfish medallions served on a seafood paella. Fab! My partners meal was equally as good. Would highly recommend a meal there.

“A Little Gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 14, 2012

The Cellar Bar has its own unique style and most welcoming. The individual booths added to the atmosphere and with the decor you could have quite easily been on the continent. The menu was quite extensive with some thing for everyone, especially if you liked fresh fish. The food was very good and served by a friendly smiling young lady.

“Huge portions and great ambience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 12, 2012

We ate here whilst staying in Aberdovey. We made a reservation which was a good thing as the place was packed. There is a great selection of items and the portions were huge. This can be a good and bad thing as they were priced to match. Personally i would prefer smaller portions and lower prices but each to their own. The food was all cooked well and the deserts were delicious. The service was very friendly and the ambience was perfect considering the closeness of the tables.
