“Something for all age groups”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2013

We live within walking distance of the park and know it in all seasons of the year. There are seats at regular intervals, bands playing in the summer, a cafe and indoor play area, bowling green, water park and adventure play area. So old and young are given plenty to do!

“Seeing its suitability to bring grandchildren”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2013

The park itself was clean. The cafe smelt of chip fat but the beverages we chose were good and reasonably priced.. What did put us off on this trip to see if the park could be included for our grandchildren whilst camping nearby next summer, was that there were so many "extras" which had to be paid for. Admittedly there were nice walks and plenty of places to sit but you would be hard pressed by children not to enjoy the rides too.

“A great free day out”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 28, 2013

Kids love coming here...even when aged 9, 12 and 14. We walk the dog around the park and then the children can spend hours on the play area...fav being the zip wire! There's plenty of benches for me to sit on and dogs are welcome if on lead! There is a great area for under 7s, for a small charge. Also crazy golf, train, swing boats, crown green bowls, tennis, ice cream vans and cafe -all for small fees, to allow you to stay the whole day. In the summer the splash park is amazing and also FREE!

The gardens are lovely too.
