“Good Beer and Food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 26, 2012

Ate here as the beer looked good. Good selection of cask ale which was well kept and I was given a taster from a selection of local ales to make my choice. Bar staff both welcoming and efficient. Food was good and plentiful.

“Best pub around”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2012

The Palatine is by far the best place to drink in Morecambe. Yes, the beer may be more expensive than Chavaspoons, but it is worth the extra to sample the fine variety of beers, especially the Lancaster brewery range. No kids, just a great adult atmosphere.

“Good food, better beer!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 21, 2012

Always a good pint in the Morecambe Public House owned and run by Lancaster Brewery. And the food is excellent with a selection from pizzas, through sharing platters (very good chirizo) to full meals and snacks the choices are good and the prices reasonable. Combine that with a great view over Morecambe Bay and it a place worth visiting!!

“Amazing piping hot food, fantastic wine and top friendly staff, what more could you want?”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2012 via mobile

Me and my boyfriend visited palantine a couple of weeks ago whilst visiting Morcambe for the weekend. We went the 1st night, I had the lamb hotpot and my boyfriend had the burger. After a cold walk along the beach it was just what the doctor ordered, it was piping hot, very tasty and we were very well looked after. The second night we chose to eat there again, we chose things completely different off of the menu and was equally impressed, a really friendly guy that worked behind the bar in his 20's suggested a wine and gave me a taster in a shot glass. I like rioja because of the smoothness, but the Shiraz he suggested was even better! To top this fantastic experience off the bill was also very reasonable! Wish it was closer to home as would definatly go back! Thanks staff at palantine :-) xxx
