“Nice views and great food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2012

Just been with an Alfa Tours coach party. Stayed 6 Nights. Great Menu choice and lovely food, served by friendly staff. Food was high quality and plentiful. Room on front of hotel was good, just needs a little work on repainting window frames etc, but for the price paid the accomodation was good. I would like to return here soon, possibly by car as the hotel is very well situated for access to the Lakes area. Entertainment was provided on most nights and was quite good

38 of us were back in the Broadway for our third time last weekend,Friday 27th of July - Monday 30th Julythe and think it was the best yet we danced our socks off again, and would like to thank Martin, Phillip and all the staff for making it a great weekend, the food was wonderfull and tip top service,we were so impressed we booked for next year before we came home, this is the friendlist hotel weve ever been in. (to all dance classes out there looking for a dancing weekend check this hotel out) We took taxi's into lancaster on the Saturday (£2-£3) per head some of us hit the shops and some went to the historic cathedral and a walk around town,we had a fancy dress party on the Saturday night. On Sunday there is a market and if the sun is shinning the beach is just over the road, cant wait to next year

We arrived on Monday 2 April with Alfa Travel. The second night we found the room cold, but one mention to the Reception and we were allocated another room.
The Staff were friendly and helpful, always willing to help, and nothing was too much trouble, even to the point of providing an evening meal an hour and a half early for four of our coach party.
The evening meal had plenty of choice and there was ample portions. One point though, perhaps beans and/or tinned tomatoes would moisten the English Breakfast. Apart from that the food was real value for money.
The entertainment was a different artiste each night, and on the whole, their routine was great for our agegroup. Pity a few more people did not take advantage and join in.
We would be happy to return here again.

just spent 4 nights h ere with National Holidays, overall we were pleased with our visit. Food was good with a good choice at dinner, free 4hour bar! entertainment was not brilliant but was there if you wanted it. Carpets and woodwork very poor on stairs could do with being replaced but towels and bedding were fine. Had water came into our bathroom from shower in room above us and was told it had happened the week before as well! Staff were helpful and friendly

My partner and i went for 4days with nationai holidays in Jan, the staff were lovely and friendly and very helpfull. Plenty to choose for breakfast but a bit on the dry side for the English breakfast ask for beans 1 morning then the next they said we couldnt have them so had somethink else. Evening meals were very nice plenty to choose from, the desserts were lovely plenty of them was that full i couldnt eat any more. Room was ok very cold on a night even though the radiator was on we had to put a blanket on the bed, room was nice enough lovely sea view with chairs next to wimdow so you could just sit and look out of window The bathroom was dirty all the white woodwork like skirting boards, walls and the rim of the shower could do with a good scrub, took a bit time to work out how to work the shower it was quite nice in the end.The stairs to all floors hadnt had a hoover all the time we were there, there were crisps on the stairs and they were still there when we left. There was a few rooms to sit in for a drink the room where the entertainment was it was quite big had a laugh at some of the entertainers on the 3nd night had to ask the bar staff for a cloth to clean the table as we sat on the same table each night and hadnt had a wash it was all sticky. Lovely hotel would do even better if it had a bit of a clean and a paint job, still had a lovely time thou. Took just 15mins walk into Morecambe its ok not much there apart from a great indoor market.
